Marin and I went to the Audubon Zoo with my friend and his two 4 year old twins. This was the first time I’ve been to the zoo since before Katrina. My favorite part was buying the boys Roman Taffy for the first time and watching them try to eat it.

City Park Mountain
I kept seeing this sign that said, “Mountain” with an arrow driving through City Park so we went to check it out. They probably should have called it a hill.
Down in the French Quarter
My friend and I headed down to the French Quarter on the streetcar. As soon as we got to Bourbon Street there was a brass band playing with a crowd that was stopping traffic. Here’s some shots I took that day.
