I took some pictures of a lily today. My mom wanted to print one of the other ones I took so I wanted to reshoot some to get them sharper. This time I used a tripod, set my camera to Mirror Lock and then used a remote set to a 2 second timer to take the pictures. I also bought some fake velvet fabric from Hancock Fabrics ($8 for 2 yards) to use as a background which I just taped to the wall. No flash used, just played around with aperture settings and then a little post in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. I forgot to set my white balance but was able to fix that in Lightroom after since I shot them in RAW format.
